FREE ENTRY
Biosonus is an experimental ambient sound event in which living systems are translated into sound in real time. Plants, fungi, bacteria, water, and electrochemical processes generate subtle sonic fields through sensors, custom electronics, modular synthesizers, and generative systems.
What you will hear is not a composition imposed onto nature, but a collaborative practice between artists and living matter. Sound emerges as a byproduct of biological processes unfolding at their own pace.
Before the listening session, visitors are invited to an informal conversation with the artists about the processes and approaches behind the work. This moment is open, intended for those who are curious.
The space functions as a shared listening environment rather than a stage. You are invited to stay, move, sit, or simply pass through.
Biosonus is a sonic journey of ambience shaped by living matter.
Artists:
Abiral Khadka, also known as Joondroid, is a sound performance artist working in the field of new media. Born and raised in Kathmandu, a city rich in cultural and artistic traditions, his live performances often carry a quiet sense of mysticism. Music and art, for him, are essential forms of human expression. Through voice, synthesizers, and layered electronic textures, he creates immersive sonic environments that drift beyond fixed cultural or musical boundaries.
Miha Godec is a sound artist and interdisciplinary practitioner working at the intersection of art, science, and experimental music. Using biosonification, kinetic forces, and analogue modular synthesizers, he creates immersive sound works that move between fragile beauty and controlled instability. His practice is rooted in living systems, water, and environmental processes, allowing each performance to unfold as an unpredictable and continuous sonic flow.
Gregor Krpič (Grki) is an electrical engineer and sound instrument developer focused on exploring sound through custom electronic and multisensory audio systems. Since 2018, he has been active as a technological collaborator in contemporary art and research-based projects. His work emphasizes experimentation, precision, and the long-term development of bespoke sound tools.
Nastja Ambrožič is an artist and educator who explores more-than-human ecologies. In her work, she creates situations in which plants, fungi, and other living systems act as active participants. Through technology as an interface and ritual as a practice, she opens a space for reflection on the ethics of cohabitation, care, and interspecies relationships rooted in ecofeminist thought.
