Dronišnica
Dronišnica was established in Ljubljana, Slovenia, in 2022. The trio consists of Lan Štokelj Wu (1997), Simon Turnšek (1995), and Oskar Kandare (2000).
Dronišnica is an experimental audiovisual ensemble. Initially, they focused on improvisation and experimenting with sound, but over time they discovered the potential to expand their roles by adding visual effects. This led to a richer experience that improved their performances.
Their sounds are created using modular synthesizers and powerful amplifiers, producing dense drones that transform into pure noise. Their sonic creations echo and reflect the chaotic soundscape of our society. At the same time, the generated landscapes, receptive to sound manipulation, visually enrich the atmosphere. The connection between audiovisual creation breaks free from the digital realm and seeps into our physical world.
Dronišnica has performed at the Sajeta festival as part of the X-mobile project (2022), OSMO/ZA at the second Clockwork Voltage event (2022), MODXMOB in Nova Gorica (2023), the INDIGO festival at Cukrarna in Ljubljana (2023), Mini Noise Evening in the Špitalska kapela in Celje (2023), Čuješ!? Drugačije at AKC Attack in Zagreb (2023), Clockwork Voltage Modular Spring at Radio Helsinki in Graz (2024), in the Das Garage project (2024) by artists Maša Knapič and Neža Perovšek, and at the Grazer Impro festival (2024), among others.
