Clockworkestra on festival Machina Bristronica

Performers: DUF, nobena, Zergon, Lowlander
Visuals: Kandela Solver

Style: techno

Clockwork Voltage is the brainchild of drummer and improviser Jaka Berger, who has brought together a vibrant community of artists working with modular synthesizers. Until now, their events have showcased each performer individually, with every modularist presenting their own unique vision.

This time, however, the collective takes things further: an orchestra of conductors, each leading their own ensemble of electronic machines. Together, they will merge into one synchronized force, weaving pulsating rhythms and hypnotic textures into an immersive experience of club-driven dance music.

Join us for a night where modular synthesizers become more than instruments—they become a living, breathing orchestra of sound.

Slovenian community will be debuting on Machina Bristronica with five of representatives from this newly formed and vibrant collective of modular synth artists. The orchestra will premiere DeadUndergroundFuture (DUF) — a powerful beat-driven project featuring its founder Jaka Berger, alongside Nobena, one of the most dynamic female voices in the techno and club scene; Zergon, a legend of the Slovenian underground and a true master of modular synthesis; and Lowlander, who traded his guitar for a modular setup and is now making waves on the techno circuit both at home and abroad. Community also strongly supports visual artists and will also present Kandela Solver who explores cyberspace, transience and the Anthropocene Epoch, combining photography and time-based media with simulations that challenge perceptions of reality.
