Clockwork Voltage Roaming Festival 2025
October will vibrate at the frequency of the future! The Clockwork Voltage Roaming Festival unfolds from the ruins and plugs into club spaces across Slovenia. One month, one traveling electric caravan of sound—from raw techno to cinematic soundscapes, from glitch explosions to pure improvisation.
This is not just another festival. This is roaming—each stop a new story, each stage a different dimension. Modular synthesizers come to life as creatures from the future, machines take the floor, and music becomes a ritual you experience only once.
We kick off on October 1st at Kino Šiška, hosting friends from the Italian community Bologna Modulare. On October 3rd, clubbing follows at Ljubljana’s Channel Zero, where the festival opens its doors with a night of club fire. On October 4th, the Modul@rnica workshop takes place, also visiting Koper, Škoti Loki, and Maribor. The wave of sound then spills out to sea—October 10th at Koper’s Bastion, continuing October 11th at Velenje’s eMCe. On October 18th, we take over Akc Nama in Škoti Loki, and the Novi Val festival in Kamnik. At the end of the month, October 24th, we reach our peak in collaboration with Maribor’s Vakum collective.

Clockwork Voltage X Modul@rnice—modular synthesis workshops in collaboration with Projekt Atol Institute
Modul@rnice is a series of events dedicated to research, education, and production in the field of modular and vector synthesis, continuously running since 2019. Individual events explore current topics in the development and production of modular sound synthesizers, vector synthesis, and oscilloscope music. The series is produced by Projekt Atol Institute, with support from the Ministry of Culture and the Department of Culture of the City Municipality of Ljubljana.
As part of the Clockwork Voltage Roaming Festival, community members will present their synthesizers, available for exploration, and discuss their creative approaches using modular synthesizers. Workshop participants will also have access to synthesizers from the modular library, where they can experiment with patching and learning the basics of modular synthesis.
