The final day takes place at the newly launched 1912 Trnovo, beginning with a conversation with our international guest Ben Chilton, aka lifeisfeedback.

Based in Bristol, Ben is a musician, modular enthusiast and one of the people deeply involved in the UK’s thriving modular ecosystem. He runs Elevator Music store in Bristol and is also behind Machina Bristronica Festival, the UK’s major modular synthesis festival and synth fair.

The conversation offers a chance to look beyond the patch itself, into the culture, communities, instruments and strange little ecosystems that have grown through modular synthesis.

After the talk, the programme moves into experimental territory with Robrrr, Kikiriki, Miha Godec and Dronišnica.

Expect drones, noise, improvisation, feedback and sounds that probably weren’t supposed to happen.

As night falls, the programme moves into the Great Hall, where Ben Chilton aka lifeisfeedback will open the evening with a live set bringing his Bristol-rooted take on modular synthesis, feedback and electronic experimentation to the Clockwork Voltage dancefloor.

The final word and the final party of the festival belong to the Clockwork Voltage Orchestra:

The community’s flagship modular ensemble returns with a live set built around a shared clock, individual systems and collective improvisation of four machines, four voices, gradually locking into one moving organism.

And from there, it’s time to stop analysing the patch and start moving.
